Kotak Rewards Program:
The Kotak Rewards Program allows eligible Credit card Members to accumulate Points for transactions and other actions as may be specified by Kotak Bank from time to time. Points accumulated on such transactions are converted to Kotak Rewards and may be exchanged for a wide variety of rewards as may be offered by Kotak Rewards Program from time to time.

Value of Kotak Rewards:
Your existing Credit card points are converted to Kotak rewards for the ease of enhancing your shopping experience. Below is the conversion table from Credit card points to Kotak rewards.
All
Kotak customers availing the following products/services will be eligible for the Kotak rewards Program.

Kotak rewards members will benefit from special offers, promotions and privileges
which may be provided by Kotak Mahindra Bank and their partners from time to time.

Kotak rewards are non-transferable, not assignable and cannot be pledged.

Kotak Bank reserves the right at all time to withdraw/ discontinue the Kotak Rewards
Program and revoke any accrued Points, without any prior notice to the customer.

Kotak rewards programme will not be accessible to customer if the card is in any block status.

Kotak rewards program for member is automatically terminated upon death or bankruptcy of the Member and upon membership termination, all rewards accrued in the Kotak rewards account (as
defined below) shall expire immediately and the membership gets closed.

This
program shall remain in force till such time till it is otherwise terminated by Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Earn
-
Kotak Bank shall determine, from time to time, at its sole discretion, which Kotak Bank card/Bank transactions are eligible for inclusion/exclusion in the Kotak reward program and how many Kotak reward to be earned and on what basis.

Kotak Bank shall determine from time to time the number of Kotak Reward required for redemption of any reward. A members card account must be in good standing, having earned a minimum number of Kotak Reward to be eligible for redemption.

In case of reversal of credit\Debit card transaction, the reward points that were earned for that respective transaction will be rolled back from the Kotak rewards portal. Example If customer uses his card for online shopping, he will earn points. But if customer decides to cancel that transaction, the points that were credited will be debited back from customers account. Same entry will reflect in Kotak rewards portal as well.

This will be applicable for Credit/Debit card.

Kotak Reward may be earned only as per the terms determined by Kotak Bank. More specifically, during a promotion, special offer, cash-back or black-out period, Kotak Bank may decide to disallow the earning of Kotak Reward on already discounted transactions.

Purchases on Add-on Cards will accrue points which will be credited to the primary Kotak Rewards Relationship holder’s account. Only the primary account holder can redeem his points through Kotak rewards portal.

Points are earned for each eligible transaction subject to the Kotak Reward earning criteria and no Kotak Reward shall be awarded retroactively.

Points are calculated by rounding down Kotak Reward accumulated on each transaction to the nearest integer.

Kotak Reward are valid for a period of two (2) years, starting from the day of the month on which the Kotak Points are earned in the respective credit card. For example, if a member has earned Points on 10th January 2020, the Kotak Points Reward Points shall be valid for redemption till 10th January 2022. Unless used prior to the expiration date, the Kotak Points Reward Points shall expire on such date.

Upon expiration, unused Kotak rewards will be removed from the Kotak rewards account as of the expiration date and cannot be re-credited. It is the Kotak reward account holder's responsibility to be aware of both the number of Kotak reward in his account and their expiration date.

Customer has an option of redeeming his points as cashback and the same will be posted to customers respective credit card account.
*Cashback is only available for points earned through Credit Cards only.

The members are not bound in any way to participate in this Program. Any such participation is voluntary. The Program is being made purely on a best effort basis.

All disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or as a result of above Program or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals in Mumbai only, irrespective of whether courts/tribunals in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction.

Rewards Portal (kotakrewards.com) is an online platform hosted for the benefit of Kotak Bank customers.

The products/services are being offered solely by the merchants/ partners and Kotak Bank is not selling/rendering any of these products/services.

Kotak Mahindra Bank is a facilitator of the Program and all merchant/partners terms & conditions applicable for the product/service of the respective merchant/partner shall apply.

Kotak Bank is not undertaking the business of on-line retail trading or shopping, it is merely facilitating the redemption of Kotak rewards and payment through Kotak Bank credit\Debit cards on the Rewards Portal.

Kotak Bank is neither guaranteeing nor giving any warranty nor making any representation with respect to the offers made by merchants on the Rewards Portal.

Kotak Bank is neither endorsing the merchants or any product/service nor is it responsible for sale/quality/features of the products/ services under the offer.

If you choose to purchase a product/service, Kotak Mahindra Bank will neither be a party to nor in any manner concerned with such purchase nor be liable or responsible for any act or omission of the merchant. You must direct any complaints or feedback in respect of such Reward to the respective participating merchant/partner.

Redemption and use of a Reward is subject to availability and to such conditions as may be specified by the participating merchants/partners. We are not responsible for ensuring that the product or service that you have redeemed for using your Rewards Points will be available. The participating merchant/partner reserves the right to supply alternative products or services of similar quality or price to you.
Redemption of Kotak Rewards is subject to:

Kotak Mahindra Bank approval and terms & conditions as relevant to the reward.

Availability of the reward at the time of redemption request.

Restrictions imposed by any supplier or issuer of the reward.

Additional terms & conditions for each reward shall be set forth at the time of redemption by the respective merchant.

The points accrued can only be redeemed by the primary relationship-holder, and not by an additional account holder. If you are not making the redemption request in person, we assume that all redemption requests made through electronic banking are made by you in your capacity as Primary Cardholder.

Redeemed rewards are not exchangeable for other rewards or refundable, replaceable or transferable for cash or credit under any circumstances, nor can these be re-converted back to Kotak rewards. Once exchanged for another partner loyalty program, if any, Kotak rewards cannot be transferred back.

Kotak Bank makes no warranties or representations either expressed or implied, with regard to the type, quality or fitness of the products or services provided by any third party while availing the Kotak rewards program offer. Products will be accompanied by warranty information wherever applicable from the manufacturer and claims must be directed to the manufacturers/merchants/service providers directly.

Kotak Bank does not accept responsibility for the quality of goods or services provided by the merchant establishments participating in the Kotak rewards program. All disputes in this regard shall be taken up directly by the member with the participating establishment

Any additional costs incurred in connection with redemption of any reward shall be the sole responsibility of the member.

Redemption of Kotak rewards once performed by the card holder will not be reversible in any circumstances.

Kotak Bank may suspend redemption of Kotak rewards where the Kotak Bank Credit Card account is not in good standing (overdue or in collection status).

The delivery of products/services will be as per the timelines mentioned during the redemption process.

Payment of any types of taxes including octroi, if any, shall be borne by the Cardholder.

Customers can redeem products/ services offered by participating merchants with Kotak rewards and with Kotak Bank Credit\Debit cards only.

This facility is solely brought to you by the participating merchants and Kotak Bank holds no warranty and is not representative of the delivery, services, suitability, availability or quality, either of the facility or the products/ services availed by you from the participating merchants by the means of this facility.

Payment of fees/service charges/all other amounts due from a Kotak Bank Credit Card Customer to Kotak Bank from usage of the Kotak Bank Credit Card on using this facility and/or otherwise will be governed by the detailed Kotak Bank Credit Card terms & conditions.

In case of any dispute, the Bank’s judgement will be absolute and final, acceptable and binding upon you.

This facility is subject to applicable law and regulations and would be modified / discontinued based on the prevailing law / regulation at any point of time and neither party shall be under any liability or obligation or continue implementation of the said facility till such time the terms are modified by the Parties as per the prevailing/ amended law at that point of time. In the event, that the facility cannot be continued without total compliance of the prevailing law at any point of time, this facility shall be deemed to be terminated forthwith from the date when the amended law restricting / prohibiting the facility comes into force.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India and the parties to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Mumbai.

All other terms & conditions of Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kotak Points Rewards & related products apply. These Terms and Conditions of use and any additional terms posted on Kotak Points Rewards, together constitute the entire agreement between Kotak Mahindra Bank and the customer with respect to the use of ‘Online Rewards’ platform on Kotak Points Rewards website.

The Bank reserves the right to add/ delete/ amend any or all of the features offered to the Cardholder with the Card. The Bank will attempt to add/ build promotional features around the Card. However, these will be on best effort basis only and any dispute arising from these promotional features will not be construed as the liability of the Bank.

The Bank may arrive at an arrangement with some merchants, for granting discounts to the Cardholder in respect of goods purchased/services obtained. However, the Bank shall not be responsible or accountable for any dispute that the Cardholder may have with such merchants.

The Bank may tie-up with third party service providers to offer their services to Cardholders at a discounted rate. The Bank makes absolutely no representations about the quality of their services and will not be responsible if the service in any manner is deficient or unsatisfactory.

The Bank shall not in any way be responsible for merchandise, merchandise warranty of the goods purchase or services availed of by the Cardholder from such third parties including on account of delay in delivery, non-delivery, non-receipt of goods or receipt of defective goods by the Cardholder.

Kotak Mahindra Bank may add to, modify or remove any part of these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time as they may deem fit, without any notice to the member.

Any changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use or any terms posted on this site apply as soon as they are posted.

Kotak Mahindra Bank shall not be responsible for any change, discontinuation, suspension or any other content posted on this site, including features and specifications of products or services described or depicted on the website, temporarily or permanently, at any time, without notice by the Merchant.

Towards the end, Kotak Mahindra Bank and the participating merchants may take various steps to verify and confirm the authenticity, enforceability and validity of orders placed by you.

Fraud and/or abuse relating to earning and redemption of Kotak reward in the program shall result in forfeiture of all the Kotak rewards as well as termination and cancellation of all Kotak account relationship with the Bank.

Information supplied by a member on redemption of rewards may be used by Kotak Mahindra Bank for administrative and/or marketing purposes.

All communication and information on promotional offers related to Kotak rewards will be sent on the email ID and mobile number registered on the Kotak Points Rewards website only.

By giving us your email ID and mobile number, the member provides Kotak Bank the permission to send communication and promotional offers related to the Kotak Rewards Program on the registered email ID and mobile number. Please note: The Kotak Rewards registered email ID and mobile number will not be updated in Kotak Bank’s records.

Any taxes or other liabilities or charges payable to the Government or any other authority/ body or any other participating merchant establishment which may arise or accrue to a member on redemption of Kotak reward as aforesaid or otherwise shall be to the sole account of the member.

Kotak Bank is only facilitating the redemption of Kotak Points and payment through Kotak Bank credit\Debit cards on the Rewards Portal. Kotak Bank rewards program acts is acting in good faith in response to any oral or electronic instruction or inquiry by the member in respect of any matter in relation to this Program/Offer and the fulfilment of any reward, the member shall not be entitled to claim or allege any loss, damage, liability, expense, etc. attributable, directly or indirectly, to any such good faith action of Kotak Bank and the member shall indemnify and hold Kotak Bank fully harmless in respect thereof.

One of the conditions on which Kotak rewards has agreed to allow the member to participate in the Program is that he/she confirms and accepts the Terms & Conditions as herein contained.

Kotak rewards makes no representation and provides no warranty whatsoever, expressed or implied and undertakes and assumes no liability whatsoever, in respect of the quality or merchantability of any reward or the suitability or fitness thereof for any use or purpose. All Kotak rewards shall be accepted by the Kotak rewards Relationship holder at his/her own risk.

In the event of a breach by a Kotak Points Rewards Relationship holder of these Terms & Conditions or of any applicable provisions in any policy incorporated by reference herein, or in the event of failure on part of a Kotak rewards relationship holder to pay for any outstanding / dues within the prescribed time set by Kotak Mahindra Bank or for any other reason whatsoever, Kotak Bank reserves the right, at its discretion, to:

Terminate and close the Kotak rewards offer.

Refuse to award Kotak rewards.

Withdraw Kotak rewards; and/or
-
Refuse to redeem Kotak rewards

Such suspension and disqualification of Kotak rewards relationship-holder may result, at Kotak Banks discretion, in the forfeiture of all of the accrued Kotak reward in the relationship-holders account.
Kotak Bank reserves the right to wholly or partly modify Kotak rewards program. Kotak Bank also reserves the right to change Kotak rewards conversion rate, withdraw Kotak rewards awarded or to change any of the Terms & Conditions herein in its absolute discretion and without prior notice to members. In case Kotak rewards comes in conflict with any rule, regulation or order of any statutory authority, then Kotak Bank has absolute authority and right to modify or cancel this program to give effect to the said requirements.
